Spring 2023 Open Gyms 

Schedule for Open Gyms for Grade 3-12

The Virginia Hurricanes will hold open gyms in January and February for girls in grades 3 through 12. The initial open gyms dates are listed below.

​

The open gyms are a great opportunity for players to work on their basketball skills and learn about the Virginia Hurricanes program before tryouts for the Hurricanes Spring 2023 teams.

​

There is no cost to attend the open gyms. Please bring a basketball and water to the open gym.

​

Players must pre-register for the open gym at the Registration Portal

​

Additional open gym dates and the tryout schedule for our Spring 2023 teams will be released soon!!

Open Gym for 7th Grade Girls

​

An open gym session for 7th grade girls was added for February 4 (Saturday) from 7:30 pm to 9:00 pm at Marymount University (auxiliary gym) located at 2807 N. Glebe Road, Arlington, VA 22207.

Open Gyms for 3rd and 4th Grade Girls

​

Open gym sessions for girls in Grades 3 and 4 will be held at the following times:

​

• February 4 (Saturday) from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm at Marymount University (auxiliary gym) located at 2807 N. Glebe Road, Arlington, VA 22207.

• February 12 (Sunday) from 9:30 am to 11:00 am at Washington-Liberty High School located at 1301 N. Stafford Steet, Arlington, VA 22201.

Open Gym for High School Girls

​

An open gym session for girls in Grades 9 through 12 will be held on January 29 (Sunday) from 9:30 am to 11:00 am at Washington-Liberty High School located at 1301 N. Stafford Street, Arlington, VA 22201.
